Digi PCI 16em is the ultimate high performance intelligent solution incorporating RISC processor technology that connects up to 16 users through a single host expansion slot. The PCI/16em system consists of a RISC-based host adapter card, one ports/16em DB25 external connector module, required cabling, drivers and manuals. This system gives you 115.2kbps performance with 16 concurrent users. Support for four PC/16em systems per CPU supporting 256 users. The host adapter card has a 20 MHz 3051 RISC processor, 256k dual-ported ram and occupies only a 32kbyte memory window. The card has a DB-44 external bus interface connector, supporting one port/Xem connector module for 16-users. There are 16 16c550 UARTS, each port has surge protection with full modem control on all ports. Additional ports can be via Xem DB-25 external connector modules (expandable to 64-ports total).
