Fiery RIP LX Component for Stylus Pro 5000 - C850071

This EFI Fiery Processor features a MIPS R4700 CPU @ 133MHz Fiery RipChips to control memory, network, and printer communications. It features 64MB of standard high-speed memory and offers 2.1GB EIDE 3.5" spooler hard drive support. Standard fonts include 136 Adobe Type 1 Roman PostScript scaleable Fonts. The easy-to-read LCD provides RIP and print status plus configuration information from the control panel. The Fiery LX RIP connects through a standard 10/100BaseT supports EtherTalk, TCP/IP, and Novell IPX protocols. It also provides standard support for Macintosh, Windows 95/NT, and UNIX and assures every network user is compatible.

True Adobe PostScript 3 provides advanced page and text handling features and RIP-While-Print technology allows the controller to simultaneously process and print pages while Continuous Print prevents the engine from cycling down for 100% printer efficiency. The ability to spool, RIP, and print simultaneously from both Macintosh and Windows platforms allows for seamless integration into any user's workflow and results in increased productivity. Fiery Spooler and Fiery Downloader utilities provide control over all aspects of printing from remote workstations. And with job accounting, you can automatically keep track of job details that are necessary for accurate client accounting. The job log can be exported for integration into the user's accounting system.

Total Web support includes a built-in HTML Web Page. Fiery WebTools provide enhanced job management capabilities via a company Intranet or Internet. Remote users can upload and install printer files on their workstations, retrieve printer status information, and change job parameters.

Professional-Level Color Management System with ColorWise ProTools consists of fully adjustable CMYK color correction with Fiery ColorWise ProTools, including Dot Gain adjustments for precise hardware color control, Optional Epson Color Cabibration system for complete hardware linearization and profile updating. It offers simulation for DuPont WaterProof, Imation Matchprint, Cromalin-Euroscale, Fuji Color-Art, SWOP DIC standards. DuPont Waterproof and Cromalin simulations were created by DuPont using CromaNet technology for enhanced color accuracy. It also provides full compatibility with ICC and Apple ColorSync Profiles.
