The Magstripe Swipe Card Reader Mini USB is powered by the USB port, so you don't need an external power supply. It reads tracks 1, 2 and 3 with bi-directional read capability. The Magstripe reads encoded cards that meet ISO, ANSI, CDL, and AAMVA standards. It is rated at up to 1,000,000 passes with ISO-conforming cards. The Magstripe has a USB interface and dual color LED indicators. This reader is white in color.
