The LAN Solution Network Tester is a network management device that combines the capabilities of a world-class cable tester with advanced features.

Using the Network Tester as a Physical Layer device, you get high-end cable testing functions and a length-measurement device that monitors and corrects network problems with Physical Layer and link conditions.

The Network Tester identifies port services like Ethernet, ISDN, POTS, and Token Ring. At the same time, it reports information such as network speed and the location of switches and other network devices as well as their capabilities. The unit’s PINGing function verifies connections to network devices and also queries NICs in the network’s PCs.

The LAN Solution Network Tester (TS560A) includes:
