This Basic Onsite warranty upgrades your low-volume scanner's standard Limited Warranty to a full 12 months of onsite service. Coverage includes all spare parts, labor and travel for service of verified hardware failures. This plan helps you protect your investment and avoid unexpected repair costs.
If your scanner requires service, you are required to call Fujitsu's Technical Assistance Center (TAC) first to see if the issue can be resolved quickly over the phone. If TAC staff are not able to do so, a Field Service Engineer will then be dispatched according to this warranty's 4-Hour response time feature - a technician will be dispatched for an on-site service call for arrival within 4-hours. Service is available between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time, excluding certain holidays - some exceptions may apply.
